Describing Changes
Say what you want in the bar at the bottom of the canvas. You are shown the change before it happens, and it is a single step to undo.
How it works
Type a request and press enter, or press ⌘K from anywhere. The assistant sees your current design, the screen you are on and whatever is selected, so “make it bigger” means the thing you have selected.
What comes back is a proposal — a card listing exactly what would change, with Apply and Discard. Nothing has happened to your design until you press Apply.
Proposals are validated first
Before a proposal is shown to you it is run through the design engine. A change that would break the document — a button given two children, a reference to a screen that does not exist, a property outside its allowed range — is refused, and you are told to rephrase rather than shown something that would corrupt your work.
This is why the assistant cannot produce an invalid design: the same rules that govern manual editing govern it, and there is no path around them.

The ✦ button
Selecting an element puts a small ✦ beside it with a few ready-made requests for that kind of thing — improving its appearance, naming its layers, adding a sensible action. They run through exactly the same path as anything you type.
Suggestions
The Design tab sometimes offers a suggestion at the bottom — a password field nobody can reveal, a list with no empty state, an input whose placeholder vanishes as soon as someone types.
These are offers rather than errors, which is why they sit below your properties rather than above them. Fix with AI sends the suggestion as a request, and you review the proposal like any other.
Limits
Requests are capped at 500 characters, and each project has a daily allowance shared with the dashboard assistant. The public demo has its own, smaller allowance across everyone using it.
